Hey all I found my dog!!!!! I lost my 3lb yorkie on 8-13-06 at approx. 3:30pm. She was in her lil kennel in the front of the house and got out thru the gate of her kennel. (My lil niece left the door open by mistake) She ran across the street and a neighborhood boy rang our doorbell but no one answered. My dad was out front staining our decks. I went to bring her in and noticed she was gone. My dad had no clue she was gone.. (talk about lack of attn to detail) Anyhoo, we find the boy who tried to inform us of her absence and he told us she ran down a path in the woods down the street from our house. So the boy and his friends rode their bikes down the woods and my parents followed behind them but she couldn't be found. I had to get ready for work which bummed me out
Then the next day 8-14-06 I got back from work late around 7am and walked down the path to the woods. I'm telling ya if you don't know where u are goin u can easily get lost. I took the right path cus the left path was covered with water and lead to the lakes. I knew my dog wouldn't have gone that route. As I'm walking down the "right" path I see a furry lil animal stop, look at me and run. I chased after it thinking it was my pebbles screaming her name.. My foot slipped into a thick mud puddle slowing me down. But to my findings I believe it was a bunny and I lost it. Gosh can u believe that? My real first true foot pursuit and a bunny dipped on me. lol Ok so movin on... I stop when I reach an open area with 3 different paths to take. At this point I was like ummm NO I need more people for this search.
Ok so my mom gets home from work and I take her down the woods to show her this clearing of paths. She agreed with me that I needed more people. But as we were walking my mom almost slipped in a mud puddy lol she grabbed all the trees I told her not to including poison ivy. Luckily she didn't get it. So we leave to inform people of our lost dog and talk about where we could leave postings up at. We get back home to find that my dad and our next door kid went down to the woods to search for her. They called her name repeatedly and she barked 3 times for them. They try to find her but have no clue where she's at. So they run back to inform me. I got 3 more people for the search and we were all searchin and callin her name. I stood still and was thinking to myself what path she'd most likely take then as I slowly looked up I could see her standing on a tree trunk staring directly at me. I was so shocked, the first thought that ran thru my head was.. "Jesus am I seeing things or is this really pebbles before me?" My second thought was "How in the world did she get up there?" Sure enough it was her! I screamed "There she is!" Everyone was like where. I had to jump in a 3 foot stream to get her. She was so excited to see me I just told her to stay still. It felt so good to have her in my arms. I was so wet n muddy and I didn't even care. As we were walkin back we got stuck in a mud swamp and started sinking. We had to make a human chain and pull each other out of it. I had to secure pebbles and my cell phone. So as we finally walk back towards the entrance of the woods I'm calling like everyone on my cell tellin them of the good news! We found her at 6:45pm 8-14-06.
We were so grateful of Jesus blessing us with the finding of our dog and making sure she was safe the entire time. We took a picture of our rescue team. I'm happy that I was able to take the day off work. My job understood the importance of this day and most jobs wouldn't. Pebbles is nice and clean and ate so much! I can't begin to tell u all the goodness God has done for me in my life. God is a good God all the time. Jesus is real people and He hears your prayers. All you need is a lil faith to stand on and He'll do the rest.
Walk by faith not by sight! (2 Corinthians 5:7)

I have to tell you all about my destruction derby incidence. Sunday 9/11/05 around 4pm I was heading to Vineyard church to do sound for Joshua House. I was all the way over in the right hand lane when a whole trail of cars slammed on their breaks. So I breaked and swurved to the next lane to my left and then all of a sudden, I hear this squealing noise and see smoke flaring from my front tires. (Keep in mind I have no tread on my front tires at ALL and when I normally do this maneuver, nothing like this happens) Then I start fish tailing and almost took out the entire row of cars, like it was bowling and I was trying to hit some pins! LOL But I kept whipping my steering wheel left and right and then I slammed on the breaks again. (NEVER DO THAT, they teach you that stuff in drivers ed) hehe So I still have cars on both sides of me and I do a complete 180 across the lanes all the way to the passing lane. At this point, my car is shut off because I'm in 5th gear still and my rpms are down. So I'm sliding sideways now and I almost ram into the brim (cement wall beside passing lane) and my car stops 2inches from it. I was so shocked.. .I looked around and no one was on the freeway. I didn't hit anyone and not a scratch on my car!!. Keep in mind I had passed a highway trooper before doing all this stuff so I'm glad I didn't get a ticket. So since I'm still facing on coming traffic, I quickly start my car and do a U turn and continue on my way to Vineyard LOL So if you are ever going down 270 N between tuttle and sawmill and see tracks, think of me. Also just think.. I even thought about pulling my emergency break which would have totally flipped my car LOL but Thank the LORD that I listened to him and didn' t do that. I didn't even think about downshifting either because everything happened so fast. I felt like i was in Need for Speed or something. I was praising Jesus all the way to church and drove SLOW. So the next day, I ended up buying 4 new michaelin tires for my car hehe and I'm ALIVE!!! It cost me a fortune but hey this is my life we are talking about and the safety of others
I continue to give Jesus all the glory, honor and praise!
